Country Fair and Entertainment

Saturday afternoon is time for the Country Fair. Each contingent sets up a booth to sell or demonstrate something from their area.

B-P Council BSA sold Spiedies, a sort of Upstate New York shish-ka-bob

Hiawatha-Seaway Council BSA sold peanut butter on celery with raisins

Many contingents sold variations on pancakes or frybread

This Scottish group had a Haggis Shy

The Angus Scouts made bead projects

Many contingents offered entertainment during the Fair - this is a Russian Scout

Singapore Scouts with snacks

Canadian Scouts with (what else?) hockey

Norwegian Scouts with cheese

Netherlands Scouts with pastry

The Bank of Scoutland - each visitor and contingent got "Atholls" from the bank to spend at the Fair. No sub-prime mortgages here - and yet, at the end of the Fair the currency was worthless. There's a lesson there, somewhere...
