The 31st Scottish International Patrol Jamborette was held between July 22, 2008, through August 1, 2008, at Blair Castle, Blair Atholl, Perthshire, Scotland. There were about 750 Scouts and 350 leaders attending the event, including seven Scouts and three Leaders from Baden-Powell Council, BSA, in central New York State, as well as Scouts from 14 other countries. We were driven by two of the group's parents from Binghamton in upstate New York to Newark airport on Tuesday, July 16, 2008, and arrived in Glasgow early the next morning. We spent six days touring Scotland. After that, we attended the Blair Atholl Jamborette for ten days, and afterward, three days of home visitation before we flew home.
I took about 2,700 pictures during our three week trip. This website will present a selection of those pictures. If you need a full-size copy of any of my pictures, or if you have any questions about the trip or the Jamborette, feel free to contact me. - Mike Brown, Baden-Powell Council, BSA How to use this website: You can navigate directly from page to page using the buttons on the left column of each page, or just click on the "next" button at the bottom of each page to move on to the next one... |
