There were about 75 patrols at this unique event, about 800 Scouts total, made up of one-half Scottish Scouts, and one-half from an international
contingent from one of a dozen different countries. To be eligible, you
had to have been at least 14
years old as of July 16, 2024, but not yet 18 as of July 25, 2024. Our
contingent included twelve Scouts from different troops around
Baden-Powell Council, BSA, in central New York State, with four
leaders - Mike Brown (me), Pete Cowan, Liam Murphy and Jon Herr.
We posted our proposed itinerary for the
trip before we left. I took about 4,400 pictures during our three
week trip - this website presents a selection of them. If you need
a full-size copy of any of my pictures, or if you have any
questions about the trip or the Jamborette, feel free to contact
me.
- Mike Brown, Assistant Council Commissioner
for Activities
Baden-Powell Council, BSA
