The 2026 Blair Atholl Scottish International Patrol Jamborette
will be held between July 21-30, 2026
and we will be there!

Scouts Scotland have announced the dates for the 2026 Blair Atholl Scottish International Patrol Jamborette, and we've signed up for a spot! 

Scottish Scouts will arrive at Blair Atholl on Monday, July 20th, and International Scouts will arrive a day later on Tuesday, July 21st, with the opening ceremony that evening. The Jamborette program will run from Wednesday, July 22nd through Wednesday, July 29th, and the Jamborette will conclude with the Athollantics campwide games and closing campfire on Thursday, July 30th. Scouts will leave on Friday, July 31st. 

Based on this schedule, we will plan to bring a contingent of 12 Scouts from Baden-Powell Council BSA to Scotland in 2026. We started monthly meetings in August 2025. We'll leave New York on or about Monday, July 13th, and will spend a week's touring around the country before we go to the Jamborette. After the Jamborette we'll probably spend a few days as guests of a Scottish Scout Group and, if the dates work out (fingers crossed), we'll visit the Edinburgh Royal Military Tattoo before we return home.  

What will we do during our week touring before the Jamborette? The Scouts in the contingent planned that out over our September-December 2026 meetings. We'll be spending three days in Shetland, the northernmost islands in Scotland - something we've never done before, as well as a day in the Central Belt, one in Fife, one on the Great Glen and one in Edinburgh.
