The 2028 Blair Atholl Scottish International Patrol Jamborette
will be held between July 18-28, 2028
and we will be there!

Scouts Scotland has not yet announced the dates for the 2028 Blair Atholl Scottish International Patrol Jamborette, but the best guess for the dates is that Scottish Scouts will arrive at Blair Atholl on Monday, July 17th, and International Scouts will arrive a day later on Tuesday, July 18th, with the opening ceremony that evening. The Jamborette program will run from Wednesday, July 19th through Wednesday, July 26th, and the Jamborette will conclude with the Athollantics campwide games and closing campfire on Thursday, July 27th. Scouts will leave on Friday, July 28th. 

Based on this schedule, we will plan to bring a contingent of 12 Scouts from Baden-Powell Council BSA to Scotland in 2028. We'll start monthly meetings in 2027, no later than August but maybe earlier if we fill the contingent before then. We'll leave New York on or about Monday, July 10th, and will spend a week's touring around the country before we go to the Jamborette. After the Jamborette we might spend a few days as guests of a Scottish Scout Group. It's too early to know about that for certain.   

What will we do during our week touring before the Jamborette? That's up to the Scouts in the contingent. At our meetings through November 2027 we'll watch videos and slide talks about Scotland, and we'll start to compile a Wish List of things that the Scouts might want to do during our touring time. We'll use the December meeting to weed the Wish List down to a week's touring, and then we'll know where we'll be going.
